LEARN AND WORK!!            PLAY AND CELEBRATE!!!

Teaching and learning often leads to the unexpected!.
Teaching and working with clay have been 40 year passions for Carol!  “What would be the sense of cramming my mind, heart and hands with clay experiences only to keep them to myself.
As head Instructor, teaching pottery classes at Atlantic Pottery Supplies and School, 15 Canal St., Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is so rewarding.”  It is an abundantly equipped studio with 9 wheels, slab roller, extruder, 4 professional potters instructing.

SMALL CLASSES OF 5-9 STUDENTS-EVERY STUDENT HAS FULL ACCESS TO A WHEEL OR HAND BUILDING SPACE.  Day and evening classes for adults.  Beginners-Intermediate-Advanced-Emerging Potters
-Stoneware, porcelain, paper and raku clays.
-Supportive and helpful environment with step by step instruction for beginners
-You have the opportunity to join Carol at her studio for RAKU firing parties
-Open Studio time available for extra practice and make up classes
-You can experiment with sculpture, functional ware, throwing, hand building, slab rolling and extruding.  After the first 4 initial weeks of instruction in basic skills, the instruction is tailored to individual interests and needs.  Time is spent on inspiration, design development, glazing skills and increasing throwing skills on the potters’ wheel to include mugs, casseroles, lidded containers, larger pieces and even teapots in a supportive and helpful environment.  You can receive as much or as little personal instruction as you need.
-The advanced classes are constantly experimenting which keeps us all challenged.  The beginners bring wonderment and freshness.  We often stay beyond our class times for the fun and challenge.
