EXHIBITIONS.
PORCELAIN AND TRANSLUCENT PORCELAIN.
PASTEL PAINTINGS.
In the first grouping, "Unknowing", Carol chose a cheerful pallet of predominately yellows and greens for her glazes and pastel paintings.  Motifs of circles and spirals are seen referring to the never ending cycles of birth and death.  As the story continues, one day the earth violently cracked open and Hades, God of the underworld, sprang forth and captured Persephone.  When Demeter realized her daughter was missing, she began searching frantically for her from mountain tops to the depths of the ocean.
